Each meeting there are spots for members to present prepared speeches, but there are many more opportunities to participate.
Table Topics
Everyone has the opportunity to do an impromptu speech at every meeting. This skill is helpful for job interviews, sales representatives, leadership roles.
Evaluations
Member who present speeches will receive a helpful evaluation to help them improve their skills for their next project. Member learn to become evaluators as well.
Education
Our club has a designated time for members to share their knowledge about speaking and leadership. This provides both leaders and members to enhance their skills

About us
Barrie-Huronia Toastmasters meets every Thursday at 7:00 pm ET. We are a hybrid club in Ontario Canada. We hold in person meetings on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. On the first and third Thursday, we meet virtually.
This will give you experience is presenting well in both formats. Since Convid, many meetings and interviews have moved to a virtual format, so it is important that you learn to do both formats well.
Our in-person meetings are held at Coldwell Banker Board Room, 284 Dunlop St. W. in Barrie. Our virtual meeting are on zoom. Our club is 25 years old and has some very experienced members. We also have members from Japan and Australia. Come as a guest to enjoy an evening of fu n.
