- We remember the nerves
- We had a lot to learn
You Don't Need to be Perfect
- Every member comes with his/her own skills
- Learning curves are different
- Evaluators will encourage and help you improve
Evaluators are meant to help
- You will get many different comments
- Your evaluator is also learning
- Focus on the positive comments
Write in a conversational style
- Only memorize opening and closing
- Use key words for body
- Close with impact and/or a call to action
Relax and have fun.
You will advance more quickly, if you learn to relax and have fun as a speaker.
